Nisemonogatari Episode 10

Kaiki back and that’s great because he is one of the most interesting characters. Now it seems like he is just back to chat and that is a possbility but I like to think he will be a major factor in the outcome of the Tsukihi Phoenix arc.

Speaking of Tsukihi she got some screen time this episode. Well half of her did anyway. That scene at the end of the episode is the entire reason I watch this anime. It portrays for the most part actions scenes the way they would be. If a weak character fights a strong god like character the weak one is beaten quickly but if two strong characters fight it lasts for ages.

Tsukihi didn’t last long and she was revealed to be a fake human, the word fake is being thrown around a lot this season which makes sense considering the title.

The pacing on this episode was a lot better too. We got a variety of different conversations in different places for a change which is nice after last episodes one room two people deal.

It seems the series is going to end very soon and no doubt the last episode will be released months from now just after it’s entire fan base has stopped caring and forgotten most of the key details. So the people that do watch it are just going to be straining to remember what happened last time instead of enjoying the anime.

Still the episode next week should be an interesting discussion between Koyomi and Tsukihi. Maybe he’ll grab her breasts again.

  1. Araragi looks like he has a bright future as a pedophile rapist. Or at least grabbing his sisters boobs.

    • What he has done is getting more and more creepy so next episode he will probably do something involving both his sisters and nudity. I’m sure someone will argue that it’s okay because Tsukihi isn’t a biological sister.

    • I don’t see any issue in this, why is that?! :O

  2. I don’t really like the super pervy Araragi. Is it that necessary to remove all the cloths. I like the pacing in this episode and I think out of all the episode this one is the best one. It is sad that it is going to end soon and i’m looking forward to what is going to happen. Oh and Kaiki is just awesome :D

    • I’m not complaining too much but yes it was necessary to remove all her clothes. Remember the audience and then remember the creators. All perverts. They couldn’t just have her rolling down the front of her kimono a little bit now could they. Next episode is probably going to be worse.

  3. I loved how nonchalantly Kaiki returned, it was obvious that he wasn’t going to keep his word but after disappearing he just pops up randomly in the background without a care in the world.

In a way I have to agree with you on that as well, as far as fights go Nisioisin can be pretty damn brutal when it comes down to them and he doesn’t leave out the little things either. Like how in the second volume of Zaregoto there’s a brief struggle that consists of the protag, Icchan having his joints dislocated and pulverised one by one, it slightly painful to read. In opposition howerver, I think things were a little too decisive and Yozuru and Yotsugi didn’t really seem obligated to leave like they did.
