Shinryaku!? Ika Musume Episode 8

Fianlly squid girl meets another invader. A home invader. After sharing stories of her conquests with the bugular they instantly become friends and if she had played her cards right she could have had a new underling. To bad Ika is stupid and let him get captured.

There is only really two thing mentioned in this episode. The first is that Squid girl is stupid and has no common sense. The second that Sanae is more of a stalker then say Yuno from Future Diary. Not as crazy but still up there on the top stalkers of anime. She sets up cameras in Ika’s house which lead to the arrest of a criminal so she isn’t all bad.

In all three of the parts this episode I felt that Ika was presented with a situation that could end really badly for a real child. 9 times out of 10 when a child meets a robber in there house something bad will happen. 9 times out of 10 when a child is captured something bad will happen and 9 times out of 10 when a child is unconscious with a stalker bad things will happen.  Squid girl is lucky to have gotten through this episode.

Overall it was a good episode but I kind of want to see some more of the Goro and Chizuru story or more of the three stooges. That, or some more invading.

  1. Yes, well 9 out of 10 children can’t cut trees in half by whipping their hair.

There’s a manga chapter I’d like to see animated where Nagisa tries to set up Goro and Chizuru. I think that would satisfy our need for romance humor.

    • True true except I would argue that 100% of children can’t cut trees with their hair. 😛

That sounds cool and I’d like to see that animated. Romantic comedy is some of the best comedy.
