C³ Episode 6

Just a quick observation before I get onto the new character and how one dimensional they are. Have you noticed every time there is a scene with the main characters have a discussion with the villains the scene turns red and blue. Blue for  the heroes and red for the villians. This is painfully obvious in the scene with the fence near the end of the episode. The effects also fade when the conflict is resolved. Although if the conflict escalates the scene get a pink tone and digital effects overlay the background imagery.

What do you think of the new characters? Shiraho and Sovereignty. Shiraho is the fan service one if you don’t remember. Fear realizes this and proceeds to discuss breast with her ending the scene with a breast grab. To be honest I don’t care much for Shiraho she seems to lack much of a personality at this point. But I do like what they have done with fear’s character this episode. Although it doesn’t seem like much happened in the way of characterization we finally got to see how she acts when the spotlight isn’t directly on her for a change. If the series keeps this level of character interaction between the four main characters I will be happy. Sovereignty doesn’t seem to have much motivation for her evil ways but if you were trapped in a case with Shiraho for an extended period of time you might be  a touch crazy too. I don’t really understand how they were in the case together… Maybe it will be explained later on. Sovereignty is one to keep an eye on as she seems mysterious.

  1. Characterization is ok, but please don’t make Fear grow boobs or I would be in despair…:P

    • I think I would too. She would look very strange.
