Fate Zero Episode 3

Its offical Waver and Rider are my favourite partnership this Grail War. Rider really developing as a character with his recent interest in being planes. If only he was in Saber’s position maybe would even get the chance to fly one. The duo starts the episode by falling right into the “Assassin is dead” trap completely oblivious to the fact it could be a trap. Making them look pretty stupid but then at the end of the episode Rider pulls a 360 and declares that waiting is part of a battle which seems like  wise move in the early stages of the war. We now know that there is a lot of assassins which may very easily win the war but then again they probably can’t beat Gilgamesh so maybe they will just get second. I was looking forward to a fight this episode but most of the charatcers just stood around discussing plans and fiddling with weapons for example Kiritsugu and his pile of guns. I wonder what he’s up to? Although Saber accepted an invitation to a fight and it looks like the next episode will start off with a fight to the death between Saber and Lancer. I’m looking forward to that.

  1. I’m really disappointed in this episode. Maybe because I was expecting more. This episode was a bit slow in pace. I wasn’t as good as the previous 2 episode. But overall it was alright. I’m hoping for more action in the next episode. That is the thing that is lacking on episode 3.

    • Episode 4 is probably going to have a lot of action in it. As much as I want to see Saber fight I want to see Rider fight even more. But that probably won’t happen for a few more episodes.
